BARBELL TRAINING [GET FIT. GET STRONG. BE HAPPY]
Hi, I'm so pleased to share these videos with you they are showing my progress of how I've started increasing the amount of resistance training I do at home. It has taken me a long time to be consistent with my weight training but now I really enjoy it. It does take time to see results but just enjoy the process and you will get there.
I started with a small padded bar and light weights until I couldn't fit any more weight on and had to invest in some larger bars and weights at the end of last year. This video shows the old bar which I still use for certain exercises that I don't need as much weight for.
I know I still make some mistakes sometimes, I try to lift too heavy occasionally when i'm focused on a small muscle group and this causes me to not perform the move in the best technique. We all learn from our experience and i am gradually realising when to stop or make the weight lighter so I have good form, this will then allow the muscle im focusing on to be used correctly and inturn gradually build.
